AT&T had a prepay service. AT&T Go. So I think it can probably be prepaid.

I own the same phone its a great phone but I think you left out that the flap part is broken and missing on this phone you can still use it but you have to be real careful with it in your pocket I did not have a data plan on my phone and with the flap gone I hit the browser button and I ran up a huge phone bill it was on for about a hour mine done the same thing the flap broke and att wanted 75.00 to fix So whoever is bidding on this phone the flap that covers the number pad is missing its like a flip phone u flip it down to answer and dial. I chose to get me another phone but this is a nice phone with the flap in place so you need to clarify to the bidders that this phone is broken and it will cost 75.00 to get it fixed so if you want a broken phone keep bidding

wow that changes things..reason my hubby had to get another phone..hit the internet keys and went online in his pocket..costed a fortune too! good to know if something is broken or missing before bidding. must have missed that in the description section

You didn't miss it. It wasn't in the description. The phone is described as in excellent condition. A broken phone is not in excellent condition even if it does work. I would not have bid if I had known. I was getting this for my brother because the flap on his phone was broken. I have contacted listia to see if I can withdraw my bid. Sorry but I didn't want a phone in the same condition as the one I was replacing.
