Manufactured in June, 1987, the lighter had fallen in between some machine rollers (at the Zippo factory in Bradford, Pennsylvania), and that fine chrome finish on the back edge and pin for the top was sheered, (rather a rarity, but if ya ever worked in a factory, you Know the story! :-) However....Because Zippo guarantees ALL of their lighters, and not the finishes, this baby Sill Carries with it The LIFETIME GUARANTEE!
