Norman Rockwell was an American Contemporary Artist, famous between the 19th and the 20th century's.
Whatever was going on in America is what he painted.

News Papers, Magazines, portraits, of great and noblemen as well as the everyday person. This is what interested him most. Families, the people on the corner, at the market and whatever those people found important.

This is one of my favorite. Reminding me of my own childhood Thanksgivings. A big turkey being served, side dishes on the table. Most of all the rest of my family was gathered together waiting to eat the wonderful meal set before us. Now everyone lives so far away plus dad and mom are both gone for many years.
