The listing, 1940 FDC First Day Cover Colorado Stamp has ended.
The winner of this auction will receive the FDC (First Day Cover) envelope and stamp pictured above. This FDC is dated Sept. 7, 1940 and features the "Coronado Quatro-Centennial" on the envelope and the corresponding 3 cent stamp, which is cancelled in Albuquerque, New Mexico - the location of the origin of the stamp.I came across this and other FDCs as part of a huge stamp hoard that I found in an antique store here in Central Iowa. I have sorted through the stamps and these are pieces that I am willing to part with.
