I already have both of these, otherwise I would be bidding.

I would definitely recommend mentioning in your description that these are both first edition bears.

The bear on a blanket's reg number starts with a letter, meaning it's the very first production run of that bear in its first year. Those are the most rare. (Especially the earlier years - 1991-1994ish) *any reg number will include a letter that's in the word CHERISHED, but when the letter is FIRST it's a first production run

The other bear is also the first year production, just not the very first production run. Still worth more than a later date though.

The first digit of the reg number is the year it was produced. The date on the bear is just the year it was designed. So a bear that was designed in 1996 and also has a reg number beginning with a '6' is a first edition.
