Description

The listing, Amish grown organic heirloom tomato seeds! has ended.

I got these seeds from my amish neighbors from their organically grown tomatoes. I figured I would list some now, and some again closer to spring, giving all the different growing climates a chance at them. These seeds will produce enormous tomatoes. Some were well over a pound each!
There are two varieties, and when I cut up the tomatoes I didn't think to seperate the seeds at the time. One variety is called Summer Cider Apricot, they are the color of apricots, but have a sweet tomato taste. The other they just called "amish stripe heirloom", I'm not sure what the classified name would be, but they are giant striped tomatoes, absolutely as gorgeous as they are delicious!

I also happened to not get a picture of the tomatoes, and when I stopped at the amish farm to get some more today, it turns out they lost all their tomatoes to frost a couple days ago.
SO, you will get 15 seeds in this auction along with free US shipping. I've added a photo of what a summer cider apricot tomato looks like that I found online as well as a tomato similar in color to the striped tomatoes, these that the seeds came from were much larger!
Also, Please comment if there is any interest for anyone in more organic amish grown seeds. My neighbors are quite generous with their produce in exchange for wood and eggs, and I've saved seeds from many varieties of their produce. They also gave me seeds from their family's multi generation sweet corn I will list in the next couple days, my garden is too sandy to grow corn. Some of their produce, including these tomatoes, are 100% amish grown for many many many years. The stripe tomatoes, as an example, are seeds from generations of this amish family's tomatoes. Perhaps this is why they have no particular name for them. Anyway, good luck bidding, thanks for stopping by, and best wishes! =)
