Do you know if that linksys wireless-G would work hand in hand w/ a Netgear router?if at all,and not sure if it would even fit my older dell latitude laptop.

yes it should with any router as long as you have the wireless network set up. about your dell that im not so sure i used this with my old HP laptop. You can search on google and see if it will. TY
