What's a wax pack??

Many, many years ago, what you now refer to as a pack of cards, used to be called a wax pack because the paper on the outside of the pack was waxed or had a coating of wax on it. This was done to help preserve the bubble gum inside with the cards. They are still called this today even though the wax is no longer used and there is no gum inside.
