The Liberty Head nickel, sometimes referred to as the V nickel due to its reverse (or tails) design, was an American five-cent piece. It was struck for circulation from 1883 until 1912..I had taken it out of its cover to get a good pic and it still didnt turn out good but o wel.. you can see the date clear as day in person and it is a 1901..
Its a nice piece to add to your collection or a great place to start.. have fun bding.. :)
