The listing, Tiny Pottery Elephant has ended.
This little elephant is a bit over 2-1/4" from her tail to the tip of her trunk. She is glazed brown with a bluish gray overglaze on her head and trunk mainly. I don't know where she came from, I got her in an estate lot, but she is certainly an enchanting little elephant. When you look at her straight on, her head is slightly tipped as if she is asking a question. I suspect she may be a handmade piece, but if so, the artist made a very cute little figure. If you are an elephant collector, I think you will like this one. She has been sitting on my desk quite a while now while I decided whether or not to let her go.
