As I was measuring this Slip, I noticed it has a small tear to the lace in the Bodice ~~ I was going to cancel the Auction but decided not to as I know it can be fixed in about 5 Minutes ~~ Sooooo Be aware. There is also a tiny "pull" in the fabric that is about the size of a Pin Head & that is shown on the last Photo. Being in the back, it's pretty much unnoticeable. Vintage items are usually not perfect So I wanted to be transparent regarding this item.

This Pretty slip has many Lace embellishments that really give it a feeling of understated Elegance.

Vanity Fair was a VERY popular maker of Lingerie during Mid-Century, 1940's-1960's ( when this slip was made )& still is Today !!

I wager to say that your Mom & GrandMa, & several of your Old Maid Aunties as well, had pieces of Lingerie from this well Loved Company. The word CLASSIC, comes to mind !
