These scarlet red blooms are 4-6" across. They will grow directly in water or on land as long as you keep the roots damp. They grow to about 6ft. tall and full of blooms. I love them around my pond..Hummingbirds and Butterflies go crazy for them..

Mine were as big as plates this year and more blooms than I can count..They are going to seed now...

I am in N. Florida and we have been in the 100's this summer but lots of rain this year. My plants have their feet wet in my pond. They love to be wet. Great flower for a person that like to over water everything. They do well in big pots as well for they can get up to 8ft. if you let them..
