I use the information given to me when purchased to identify the items I list. I am not a jeweler and do not consult one prior to listing. I give you all the information to the best of my ability. Unless an item is stated as "Genuine or Natural" the stones can be laboratory/cultured/synthetic or man made .
They have essentially the same appearance, physical, and chemical properties as the natural material that they represent. Most name brand jewelry stores such as Kay's etc. use lab created gems and even gold filled (unless otherwise stated). This is not Zales .... Almost all items are in the Fashion category but their Beauty is just as Elegant and they can last you a lifetime if taken care of =)
