The listing, Very Funky Nickel Silver & Copper tea pot. has ended.

This is what I know about this tea pot ( even that is a guess). It is 7.5 inches high and at widest point is 6.25 inches wide. I bought it at a flea market. It was a set of two, one smaller than this one. I asked seller what he knew. All he knew was where he bought at house sale. He knew they were very old and made of nickel silver & copper. He advised me not to polish because of patina. As I was walking away another lady stopped me and wanted to buy them from me. I finally agreed to sell the smaller of the two. I got my money back 3 times over, her offer, she really wanted them.
I love the metal work, the heart at base of handle. I never attempted to put any liquid in them. There is something rattling in it, but I can not get it out.
As in pics 4&5, there are three small dents. They were there when I bought them did not care. on one side and two smaller on other.
I think you will love it as much as I do, but time for a new home. It would be amazing to know how many people have owned this.

It very well could. This gives you the idea of what I like to collect. Had dear friend who was volunteer firefighter who collected old firefighter gear. I really have a soft spot for firefighters. I used to tease him and call him goofy, cause while everyone else was running away, he was running toward the disaster. He had to agree.

Goodness gracious I am talking myself out of bidding because I have NO idea where I would put this and I need something else to sit around like I need a hole in the head! lol My Mama collected teapots when she was alive and this would have made her VERY happy - she loved unique pieces! I love unusual. I have a lot of art glass. As you know my favorite color is cobalt, so I have some lovely pieces. I also collect copper art. I like unique. If I am not mistaken, I think it is a Buddhist Bhumpa. Which is made for ritual putopses. It should have a fan with it that has peacock feathers on it. And if anything is ever put into it, is should ONLY be pure clean water. These are very special and rarely sold. It is considered bad Karma to sell them, because it is as I stated above, a ritual item used only in Buddhist rituals of empowerment.
