PLEASE READ EVERYTHING!

My cousin purchased this pair of Ray-Ban Aviator Tech Sunglasses (RB8307 63 17-132) from Sunglass Hut in Lafayette, LA. Ticket price at that time was $245. He wore them for about 2 minutes when he got home and did not like the way they looked on him. He gave them to my husband whose head was too small for them. I tried them on, they looked great, but were not my style. As he purchased these glasses at Sunglass Hut....who is a retailer for the Ray-Ban company, I am pretty sure they are authentic. In an effort to be more sure, I checked Ray-Bans site and found that the RB8307 is still being sold in some stores, but is now a discontinued model. A search of Amazon.com and FramesDirect.com show them still in shock. I am pretty sure these are the real thing and did as much research that I could in an attempt to prove otherwise. I only came back with positive results that appear to be authentic. I have provided everything that I know about these to you....I have taken photos of the glasses from every single angle and of all notations on the glasses. You understand that by bidding, you know that I am not 100% positive about authenticity although all data points that way, and that I will not be responsible if you find conflicting info after winning. The document notes that the lens is crystal gradient which is a step above plastic.

CRYSTAL: The crystal lens is tinted on the backside using high vacuum processes. This allows the adhesion of thin layers of oxides to the lenses to achieve smooth colour transitions. They are similar in feel to plastic lenses.

PLASTIC - The plastic Ray-Ban lens achieves a transition in shading from dark to light thanks to a precise chemical immersion process.

Most RAY-BANS can be brought to certain eye glass providers and prescription lenses inserted.

Documentation notes Crystal Gradient but they are so similar to plastic so it is hard to tell.
