(in Canadian folklore) in British Columbia, a hairy beast or manlike monster said to leave huge footprints, one of a race of huge, hairy man-monsters supposed to inhabit the Pacific northwest woods in American Indian lore and also known as bigfoot. Similar to the Tibetan creature, The Yeti.

Fans of magic, fantasy, myth, legend, cryptozoology, and science fiction will love this guy.

I drew this bigfoot, myself in pencil as an outline, then filled him in with pastel features as I imagined the sasquatch to be. Background textured to look like an old photo.

The firesquatch has revealed his fur beneath!
This is the first time this print has been listed.
Hell, I just finished him a few days ago.

This 5x7 print will come on quality paper & will be signed on the back side with a #1 indicating the first ever print of this version of my sasquatch. (he was previously done in a graphic style with texture effects and no pastel details)

Haha. He was a project for a dear friend who claims to have had an encounter. I printed him on a slice of tree for my buddy. I thought Listia might need some Bigfoot love too

Amazing work here. Any chance you might be doing a piece like you did for your friend on here in the future? The print on the wood slab I mean? Great auction and I agree with your friend by the way. They are out there. Been in his shoes myself a couple of times in my life and it seemed unbelievable at the time, but the facts remain, we don't know all we think we do about the natural (or some might say in this case UNnatural) world. Very cool listing! F&W. :)

It takes me a while to get it just right with wood transfers.... and I hate shipping with things like that, but I am tempted to try something similar. Maybe a less sensitive piece of wood. His was brittle til I sealed it.
