It was my phone when I was married to my husband & when we got a divorce, he reported it stolen to Verizon since I wouldent give it back to him for his new gf to use, so I called up Verizon when he did it & since it was in his name when we bought it, they told me to go get it unlocked but I can't use they're services no more.(No big deal)

I am honestly not completely sure, I did use straight talk & 1 other a few years back but boost had a deal going on that if u switch, u get a new phone & cheap plan so I decided to switch completely to them.
