Description
The listing, 1670 English Norwich Farthing- Documented and Archived has ended.
Some years ago, I bought a collection from an English gentleman that included some artifacts that he had found with his metal detector. All of the artifacts were archived on a database called the Portable Antiquities Scheme. Each artifact has a description of what was found and where. All of these artifacts have database numbers and can be looked up online. I will be putting these on from time to time.
A corroded Norwich Farthing token, dated 1670. On the front it says Norwich Farthing 1670 and on the back is the arms of Norwich, a castle. The token measures 21.5 in diameter, 1mm thick and weighs 2.77 grams. You will get the coin and the original paperwork.
