The listing, Vintage Still Bank - THE IDAHO FIRST NATIONAL BANK - Cast Metal Bronze has ended.
This is a promotional item from 1967 when 'The Idaho First National Bank' was 100 years old. On one end it's marked "Since 1867"
They released this Brass Potato Bank by Banthrico of Chicago, IL (marked on the bottom) to commemorate the Centennial Celebration.
The bank looks like a large Idaho potato sitting on a brass platform with the State of Idaho sitting in front of the potato. On this outline of the State of Idaho are small stars which mark the branches of the Idaho First National Bank at the time of the celebration in 1967.
Condition: Good vintage collectible. Bottom plate is intact, but the original KEY IS MISSING. My husband opened it with a bent nail.
