It means that the stone was created in a labratory and not made over the course of 5 miiion years like real jemstones are made. Man made diamonds, and they look just like diamonds that were mined out of the earth. They are not nealy as strong or exspencive. I don't like them because they are usually set in cheap metal and they just really look fake. The pictures shown here are all blurry and I can't really see them very good.
