Yes the gold part is where you file or cut off. Can be applied to a dry nail.

My eyes are so bad since my stroke & I can't make out how to apply these. Do I need glue or can I just use the clear base & stick this on top of it when it's wet, trim, then add the clear top coat? My Mother would love these on her nails :-)

Do u have to cut the gold edging off & then apply them to the wet base coat? My eyes are bad since my past stroke & I can't make the instructions out.
