The design shown goes all the way around the band and you can only see it, not feel, the grooves it appears to have because it's made with a sort of "coat" that makes it smooth all the way around. The "coat" looks like glass covering the clever design and has no knicks in it because it's as indestructible as a man's ring can be!! If you haven't heard of tungsten carbide do yourself a favor and look it up because it's pretty much indestructible! I'm unsure of the size but I will be finding out the correct size and posting it as soon as possible. I have 2 rings, separately up, that I'm taking to find exact size othey from my local jeweler later this week so there won't be guessing about actual size! I can take pics with all kinds of things to attempt to show size but I'd rather have the experts positively tell me and be done with it.
