THE DAY I STOPPED BEING PRETTY is the memoir of Rodney Lofton. He begins his story by telling readers his life hasn't been beautiful and at times his story is graphic enough to be offensive to others and he apologizes up front. He doesn't seek your pity; he just wants the readers to know how he came to this place in life. And so the journey begins after a failed suicide attempt.
