I have no doubt they will. But be careful of the soil, it needs quick draining cactus like soil, with a bit of humus. they grow where its dry, but only if they get enough humidity. Not much is needed, if your sure it dries out a little between waterings, or dries enough that day (i.e. if its kept in a sun room or something). But they are semi tropical cacti. SEMI, so too much water/moisture and they will get rot. But Yes, with proper care they would probably like it quite a bit in florida. Hope that helps.
