The listing, Valuable Old US 5c Stamp from 1901, Pan-American Expo has ended.
Here's another very old US stamp-- it's a 5c ultra & black issued to commemorate the 1901 Pan-American Exposition. It is Scott number 297. It is in used condition with a fairly light wavy lines postmark-- nice shape for a stamp this old-- no obvious faults-- definitely a "better" stamp with a catalogue value is $18.00!

*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ***
**************************************************
This week I am listing a HUGE lot of older stamps from the USA including some quite valuable ones, so DO have a look! There are some stamps here with catalog values to $50.00 and more-- in total, several THOUSAND DOLLARS' worth of stamps! Lots of "better" stuff here that you just don't see on Listia very often. If you win multiple bids, they will be sent together.
Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away a few years ago, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad accumulated stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.
I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.

OFFICIAL LISTIA ADDRESSES ONLY! No private email stuff, no "can you send it here instead" stuff and so on. If I don't have your official address within 7 days of auction end, I will keep the points and relist the item, as per Listia rules!
Thanks for your interest, and good luck!
