The listing, Very old US 1c stamp from 1890 with Benjamin Franklin has ended.
Up for your consideration is another really old US stamp-- it's a 1c ultramarine with Benjamin Franklin, I believe it is a shade of Scott number 219 from 1890. It is in used condition with what seems like a reasonable postmark for this time period. No back faults that I could see. Nice condition for such an old stamp!

*** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! ***
**************************************************
This week I am listing a HUGE lot of older stamps from the USA including some quite valuable ones, so DO have a look! There are some stamps here with catalog values to $50.00 and more-- in total, several THOUSAND DOLLARS' worth of stamps! Lots of "better" stuff here that you just don't see on Listia very often. If you win multiple bids, they will be sent together.
Here's the bigger scoop: My mom and stepdad both passed away a few years ago, and I've been going through some of their old stuff-- they were both dedicated "savers" of everything. In some ways, I guess they were borderline "hoarders." My stepdad accumulated stamps, and this is from his collection-- although it's more like a giant pile of messy album pages and envelopes.
I think people should have fun bidding on stuff-- that's what auctions are all about! So the starting bids for my stuff will always be is FIVE credits, and we go from there, no matter HOW valuable something might be.

OFFICIAL LISTIA ADDRESSES ONLY! No private email stuff, no "can you send it here instead" stuff and so on. If I don't have your official address within 7 days of auction end, I will keep the points and relist the item, as per Listia rules!
Thanks for your interest, and good luck!
