These are beautiful plants once they start to grow. They become at least 6 feet in diameter and up to four feet tall.
Depending on your soil and climate they become huge!
They are Variegated and their leaves turn and twist in different direction.
They do have spines on the edges of the leaves so they shouldn't be planted near a walk way or near a door. They make great center piece or circular driveway garden plantings in a large garden.
Once they completely mature they will grow a large spear from the center and you will get hundreds of babies. They also have babies as they grow. They will come up under or off to the side of the mother plant.
They are not freeze safe so they have to be in a warm year round climate of potted so you can bring in.
Sandy well draining soil is best and they are a cactus so watering is very minimal.
