this is an 14k gold ring i had got for an x of mine. i paid 280.00. great ring for a husband or boyfirend

Don't be too down on yourself. A lot of people feel they have to make it difficult for the newbies. They forget they were newbies once too. It is a bit trying to get started, especially when you can't afford free shipping and are not used to what shipping fees are. I eventually invested in a postal scale, and with that, and paypal, I finally got it straightened out. I still have some people who harass me about my shipping fees, but I go strictly by Listia rules. Most of the time I end up losing money on my shipping fees, but that's fine. I'm not out to make a profit, just offer some free things. Welcome to Listia and don't let the comments get you down or discourage you. Once things get going good and you get your wings and seller wings the comments slow down a bit. Good luck!!!

and of course you will always get the people who complain no matter what you do they want everything for free even when you picture excatly what they are bidding on. but most people on here are honest hard working people.. keep the faith and things will work for you. love the ring by the way my husband has the same one. and wears it all the time.

I think that anyone that complains about shipping costs on a 300 dollar item that they are getting for free is pathetic. Don't worry about it and good luck... Try to cool it on the attitude though. People aren't trying to get that when they ask questions, some of them really don't understand something on your auction.

Don't get too bent OK. but, your shipping rate is really high. The small flat rate box is really big for this item. If you mailed it in a bubble mailer with ring box and with insurance it wouldn't be $4.00. I'll be watching.
