dude...I call BS here, I refreshed and noticed 12 bids and the points at 527, then after I bid the 532 points, then the message "Sorry! You were outbid on this auction." shows up, and suddenly the max bid is up to 537 points and the auction counter is only up to 13 when it should be 14 because someone besides me also placed a bid. Whether it's you or listia and some weird bug i'm not sure, but something stinks here.

well obviously you're new, it's like this:
Let say some one bid 1000 credits but the starting credits is 100, It wont show that this person bid 1000 just 100 then when someone else bids lets say 200 this person will get automatic outbid cuz the first person have a max of 1000 credits as max bid, so! in order for you to be the highest bidder you gonna have to bid more than the first person meaning 1001 credits or whatever the highest bid is.
So next time please be really careful on what you say in people's auctions....thanks and have a great day.

yes I was unaware that listia had a ridiculous system like that. Honestly it sucks compared to ebay because at least on ebay you see the top bid in real-time. I think this would be more effective to get more bidders to try and get this item since they'd know in advance what would be the best offer to top. Believe it or not there are a lot more people who get frustrated at not knowing how best to approach this. Thanks for the insight.
