The listing, Tomato Seeds: Copia - True 2 Type - yellow slicer w/ red stripes or blush - 20 seeds has ended.
Copia is a created and stabilized tomato variety, that was selected from a deliberate cross made by Jeff Dawson, of Marvel Stripe and Green Zebra, which he named after COPIA (the American Center of Food, Wine and the Arts).
The bicolor fruits are12-14 oz, with bicolor marbled flesh inside.
MY SEEDS ARE NEVER FROM BOUGHT PACKS OF SEED, DIVIDED UP INTO TINY PORTIONS FOR RESALE.
THEY'RE ALWAYS GROWN IN A VEGANIC WAY,
(vegan=cruelty free & organic=no GMOs, or chemicals) FROM 2ND GENERATION ON, GROW OUTS, PROCESSED, & CURED BY ME, FROM SEED TO SEED.
ALL OF MY PHOTOS, ARE TAKEN BY ME, & NOT "BORROWED" FROM ANYWHERE.
MY SEED WILL NEVER BE MORE THAN A YEAR OLD.
I STRIVE TO REHOME ALL EXCESS SEED BEFORE THAT TIME.
I go through all the trouble of growing, tending, harvesting, processing & curing seeds, because I'm starting a seed bank.
I got tired of the rising costs of seeds, & the rarity of some, so if I have a running seed bank, with the goal of filling the jars, of every true to type variety I come across, there's no reason they need to become rare, or costly.
It only takes me less than a month to fill a seed bank jar to full capacity, with freshly harvested seeds, that often times, my seeds are a month old, or less.
By keeping the cost of true to type seeds low, it encourages more growers, to choose true to type seed, over often high priced, patented, or trademarked, variable offspring hybrid seed, which they have to keep buying to get the same result.
Heirlooms & true to types exist, because of the seed saving efforts & selective breeding projects of a few.
By starting my auctions at the lowest possible bid, I let people decide the worth of the seeds, not myself.
If you bid and win another of my offerings, they'll be shipped together for free.
