Description

The listing, FOXGLOVE FLOWER SEEDS 75+ GIFT IDEA TOO ! has ended.

One of the most stunning biannual flowering plants, Foxglove is an admired favorite. Vibrant purple flowers, spike-like in form, grow in rosette clusters along the tall plant stalk. Foxglove grows well in full sun or partial shade, and will rise to a height of 4’. Standing tall and proud, Foxglove is an exceptional border or focal backdrop plant that will bloom profusely if planted in nitrogen rich soil. You can mix backing soda around your soil for this instead of chemicals/

Blooms June through frost
Grows to a height of 2 to 4 feet
Plant seeds at a depth of 1/32 inch (surface sow)
Germination is 2 to 4 weeks
I like to mix with soil and scatter where I want them to be. Do this 2 or three times the first plantings and you will have new blooming flowers throughout.
Sow in the ground after last frost. These can be started indoors 2-3 months before then. A LITTLE HINT FOR YOU, I LIKE TO PUT LITTLE PACKS OF FLOWER SEEDS IN MY CHRISTMAS CARDS. WITH A PICTURE AND GROWING INSTRUCTIOS. FEEL FREE TO USE MINE. THEY ARE ALWAYS WELCOME. A FEW SEEDS CAN MEAN A LOT !

Soak overnight in water. start with a pot of soil or in the ground. water the soil. place a few seeds. cover with about one inch of soil. cover with plastic wrap or use cheap painters plastic drop. mist every day until they come up. then remove plastic. if they are planted outside cover the first winter, leaves are good and not expensive. hope this helps
