Hi There! Welcome to my Fabulous Auction!!
This *Marked 925* Sterling Silver Cross Pendant is HUGE!!!
As the photos show, from the top of the bail to the bottom of the stunning piece, it's a big as a lighter!
There are a total of 5 gemstones on the front that are 'bezel' set. Top center stone is pale purple. The stones at the ends of the arm are both green. The center stone is red and the bottom stone is black.
Photos also show the markings on the back center. The mark is somewhat worn or maybe just the edges were not stamped heavily and even. It definitely says 925. It also says MEXICO and there is another word stamped at the top part of the mark but as I've said, the outer marks are not very clearly stamped, so the very top part of these letters are not legible.
This could be highly polished or left as it is. I have only rubbed it a little with a silver polishing cloth. The fine lines that are present were there when I got it.
I have done a 'Google' search using a combination of the marks and I cannot find this pendant. If anyone can enlighten me, I do appreciate it.
I have weighed it and, as the photo shows, it weighs in at a nice hefty 28 gm. It's a beautiful solid piece.
