BTW the Ps3 Slim IMO is the best Version of the ps3 they released. Onlything great about the first ps3 Fat is the backwards compatibility to play PS2 games, which if you know what your doing you can on the ps3 slim as well.. The Last version of the ps3 they came out with was the Ps3 SUPER SLIM, which was made very cheap. Id take a refurbished Slim over a SUPERSLIM anyday..

Really hope I win because Santa is planning on getting my son a tv in his room for Christmas! This way he can use it for games, Netflix, and vudu. Tired of him and his friends playing the Playstation in the living room!

It doesnt have a 500GB drive, look at the serial # the last letters are CECH-3001B(NOT 8) That means its a320gb BRO

You can get a HDMI cord for 6bucks.. Thats the only xtra cord needed. Unless someone doesnt have a HDMI TV... I agree its nice of her to buy the controller, I was just saying between the controller and shipping thats gonna be a easy 45 bucks or so.. But then again we r taking the chance of it not working, soo it sounds bout fair.. If u Plug up the PS3 hit the button and see if the light will turn green and come on.. Maybe her friend had the cords and checked it out, she said friend says its in working condtion

But the controller sounds great but a HDMI cable is all you need and they are pretty cheap. you probably can get one at a thrift store even...

Does it light up when you plug it in at least... and what do the lights look like? Do you have a game you can put in Ps3 or PS1....then what do the lights look like?

zardon75 you probabley got playstation 3 there alot of people that don't so we can wait til saturday for a controller this way when we get it we can hook it up and see if it works plus we can play so let her get a controller it's nobody business if she wants i will bid if she does get the controller.

I think the last part where you put a 8 is actually a B, That means its 320GB if im not mistaken. SO that would make it a PS3 SLIM 320GB which like the women above said U by no means have to go out and Purchase a Controller They are still pricey used , even though the PS4 is out the PS3 is still making games and intends to for several more years, I am not telling you not to i was just saying you dont have to buy and put in more money for a controller, I have This PS3 slim myself and its not the lightest ,lol ,specially when it comes to weighing it to ship it.
I have been here 4 years and if you dont mind me making a suggesting on shipping, Check to see how much it is when you go into the post office by regular mail, their gonna way it first, then ask them how much flate rate priority shipping would be for it, you may save money by shipping it priority , by doing so it comes with a tracking #, and insurgence of $50 to $100 covering the item being shipped.

Its the Slim model everyone. And you can upgrade the Hard drive in any PS3 to a bigger size so you have more GB.

seller you dont HAVE to buy a controller, even used ones sell for 30+ dollars from the store, the description doesnt say anything about it having a controller means listia wont make you buy one, as for the person asking for a 20k GIN LOL if this goes like other PS3' then it should go over 100k minimum over 200k normal, but the over 200k is knowing if its fully working with a hard drive, also look on the bottom or back, search for the little label that has the model number on it post that model number and people can look it up to see which kind it is great auction
