I have no idea if this is a real opal, real stone, or real gold. This does not come with a chain.

I have one exactly like this that I inherited from my great grandmother... I know hers was Avon, 14k gold plated, simulated opal and ruby. I think they were part of a birthstone line from back when Avon had representatives go door to door selling their make up and jewelry... I hope that information helps you!
