how have you won so much on listia raffles ? just curious ... I mean I love mine it just gets on my last nerve at times ...it is a simple point and shot but still a great camera

well i have mine set so they put it in order by date and that makes it much easier to find things ....

Hey girl do you know that you can get FREE tickets by sharing on facebook, twitter, and pintrist? I mean I don't know anyone personally who has one off free tickets only but a ticket is a ticket right ? I have a system by which I bid. I wonder if I got the camera only because of the number of tickets I bought. I mean I wish I knew how they come to decide who wins but was very blessed and surprised to be able to win being on listia under 2 years on listia. I don't know if my ticket system will prove positive for me or not ... but I don't get out of hand on buying tickets. And if I am really interested they can tell by how many I buy how often ... It just all depends. And if I have no credits to really spend the tickets for facebook may not be many but they still are tickets. Right now they have some great home appliance things. OH, and I know some folks do but I don't do the raffles to relist a new item on here I do them for fun hoping i might get "lucky" and win the item most of the time I need or an extra I can't afford. That is why I hate the way they do bidding on the rewards store. To me if you have to bid it is not a store and the credit levels are getting way out of hand on there. Ne ways just chatting. TTYL!

Okie girlie this is what I know, now I'm no expert but when I first signed up the Rewards Store was awesome because I could save up credits (well try) and then I could go "shopping" and use GIN to get what I wanted at the credits already determined. Somewhere between the last time I posted auctions last December and the time I posted auctions in August the Rewards Store underwent a 2 changes. One being the credit amounts and two they are now a you must bid auction. To me personally that is not a Store or Reward if you have to bid and only one person can get the item at a time like the rest of the site. To me it was supposed to be something I could reward myself with and get the item based on current items when I accrued enough credits to "reward" myself for activity on listia. Bidding and "fighting" for a brand new item is no more a reward than auctions you get outbid at the last 15 seconds because their site won't refresh. The Reward Store Items are from corporate partners with Listia such as Walmart, Target, Amazon among others. Don't get me wrong I love Listia just not the new way they are doing the Rewards Store which is the system by which credit values is now based upon as I understand.

So the Raffle has always been different in that you buy tickets 1 credit = 1 ticket and you have a chance at winning an item absolutely free for however many tickets you bought. Just like a raffle that non-profits put on. You take a risk at paying out and not winning (different from regular auctions cause if you are the highest bidder you get the item you paid for with credits). The Raffle is as I understand to select randomly a winner based on users who bought tickets. So say for instance 100 people bought 100 tickets they would each have a 1 in a 100 chances of winning the item. The Sponsered Raffles are items that are partnered with either Corporate partners like Walmart or Amazon but could also be a Listia user that has a "store" as well. All items ship directly from the warehouse for whom Listia sponsors under the Listia name so thus is from Listia but a different person ships the items. Both the Rewards Store and Sponsored Raffles can be found under the "BROWSE" option once the window opens it is typically two columns and they are on the right side bottom and in bold. Hope this helps you and anyone else who was curious! Shouldn't Listia be paying me to help promote what we love about Listia ? ;-)

well sometimes small scratches doesn't mean it doesn't work .... but I've not bid on movies on here before so I really am unfamiliar with movie listing policies ... inbox me what camera you have maybe we can figure it out. The little camera I won on here last year, I'm still trying to figure it. Sometimes it will be blurry no matter what setting I have it on with the shake setting on too .... it's very pecular.

no they are just too smart for their own good ... seriously i don't like when it won't take a clear shot no matter the setting .... i liked it better when we had more control but you can except you pay out the rear for a better camera than simple point and shoots but hey mine was Listia raffle free :-D so I am blessed to have it all.
