Details of the item(s) are as follows :

Vintage porcelain double handled soup or bouillon cup and saucer set marked MZ Austria. The main color is white, and it is decorated with pink and yellow roses, pink roses, and ornate gold trim.
The cup has a scalloped bottom and the saucer has a scalloped edge
The cup measurements : 3 3/4" across and 2" deep
The saucer is : 5 5/8" across

These have been gently used with some signs of wear on the gold

Soup sets are elegant and back in the day every classy household would have a set. You could use this for butternut squash soup or a soft mushroom or even a hearty beef vegetable. It’s fun to try something new like a classy soup dish.

For some reason most contemporary china doesn’t come with handled soup bowls. That’s ok because you can always mix in a different set of dishes for a special course like soup. It’s a little like using unique dessert plates – there’s no reason you have to match everything on your table.
