The listing, Photo Wizard of OZ original cast. has ended.
8x10 glossy photo of the original cast standing in front of a giant book depicting the original. I picked this up years ago on a visit to Hollywood. It is a nice little piece of the past..Th e re are a couple oh staple holes around the edge that do not show up in the picture.
The one staple partly across Toto is the worst of them. It kind of blends in to the black. After all it is back when photography was different. I have had this for over 45 years and it probably was printed back when the movie was Made. The paper is stiffer than what we have now. The staples on the upper left and right are noticeable but if you teamed it they wouldn't show.
I meant framed not turned. That was a typo. Too bad I was so young and stupid to staple it to my wall. I did smooth it out a little so it is not as noticeable. Someone might be able to smooth it out further. It does look better.
Update........ I am adding 2 postcards from Liberal Kansas. I visited Dorothy's house a few years ago. The house was donated to the Seward County Historical society. It was not the one in the movie, rather the original one the book was based on. The house was built from 1907-1909 and the home of Dorothy Gale, the little girl that the book was based on. The other postcard has a picture of the characters in cartoon form from From Baum's books. It says "THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME" Sorry, too late to post pictures but just a little extra That I found in my things. I can post them on Facebook.
Please note. This picture comes UNFRAMED! The above update has a typo. The framed picture is just to show what it looks like FRAMED. the mat is cut far too small and cuts off a good portion of the print.
