The listing, Electric Staple/Nail Gun has ended.

This is a Stanley, heavy duty sharpshooter electic staple/nail gun, I uses 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2", 9/16", 6.3mm, 7.9mm, 9.5mm, 12.7mm, 14.2mm. Uses TRN120 1/2" ,12.7mm and TRN580, 5/8", 15.8mm nail, has never been used.it was given to my husband he already had one so he hung this one on the wall of his garage. The packaging is yellow from being out in garage.

Does this work with 2.5 inch long, 1/4" wide nails? Is it strong enough to use while framing a wall?

These numbers are listed on the back I don't know the length of the staple but maybe these will tell you something: TRA Series 1000 1/4" #TRA704
and 5000 Series, 1/4" TRA704-5
We have never used it so I'm not sure about your second question, I do know it's not an industrail staple gun, like they use building houses with.
