Skin Healing ~Plantain 100+ seeds fresh from the garden.
(Plantago majora) ~Plantain seeds contain psillium (metamucill) and its large "dinosaur skin" leaves contain aloetonin making them excellent for skin poltace bandage. I leave a few Plantain growing in the garden every year for first aid use and it self sews in lawn areas.

I wonder if I can make a soap with plantain extract?...Hope I win this and I'll experiment. But not sure how to grow it. Do you just scatter the seeds in the yard? Thanks

This grows anywhere but faster and fuller in the garden as my photos show. You could warm the soap's base oil with leaves and strain. There is also an herb called soapwort (they put that in my "mrs meyers clean day" dish soap)
