Ribbons are useful in 101 craft projects- making hair bows or headbands, bracelets or necklaces, lanyards, scrap booking, card making, sewing-trimming clothing, purses, crocheting or quilting projects, decoupage, decorating gifts, baskets or wreaths, etc.

I sometimes use ribbons to decorate my needlepoint projects. My grandmother used to thread ribbon through many of her crocheted items-hats, mittens, sweaters, blankets, etc. Both my mother and grandmother loved to sew, and would make clothes for everyone; often they would be trimmed with ribbon.
