Molly is a rescue we adopted her 2 yrs ago when her so called family found out she was going blind and nothing could be done.so they just dumped her and didn't tell anyone at the rescue what was going on with her. she is the love of my life she went blind in Feb 14 and is the only one who doesn't know she's blind.We also have 2 rescue parrots and a cat who came to use at 4wks old she'll be 7 in Nov. we also have a rescue Betta ( now don't laugh) he lives in a 1.5 Gal tank with a filter and Betta heater. along with things he like to sleep under.

Yes this is brand new, still wrapped in the plastic. I know the ones I have , have a shinny film over them, but have no idea if can be used outside, It doesn't say anything on it, so it's up to you if you want to try it. Or maybe there's some king of water proof spray you can put on it. Sorry I don't have a definite answer for you.

Well we rescued our cat Bubba, at a year old he was born in the shelter-he's 3 now a month later we adopted Scooby-Dee from a rescue, she was 3 years old she's now 5 & we have a 20 year old turtle that my husband bought off the streets in NYC, his name is Turtlehead(yes our sons loved the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the time). Before that we had 2 cats(brothers) Snoopers passed 6 years ago at the age of 16 & Raven, he passed 4 years ago he was 18. Raven went deaf at 14, we had them since they were 6 weeks old. We love animals…wish I had room for more but right now-no but hopefully next summer will be in our new home in Myrtle Beach, SC. Guess that's another thing we have in common is our love of animals. Even unusual ones.
