Wow, sorry to hear that! I wouldn't suggest washing them or getting them wet because they are just plain metal.what i refer to as mystery metal. But i e had these for several months. 9+ and have no signs of discoloration yet. But these are not fine Jewlery so I can't say it could never happen.
