This listing is for the Harry Potter movie fans! I haven't watched but the first movie with my son when he was little so I don't know a lot about this necklace as part of a later movie. I'm supposing it is Hermione Granger's necklace that open and has writing on it. This one is a gold tone one, I also have a silver tone one listed as well. It has a glass hourglass in the center that you can flip the center ring to make the sand run through. The actual pendants with hourglass measures 2 3/16", that's from the little points on the sides and it's just a bit short of 1 3/4" tall. The chain measures 20" and that's including the toggle clasps. This is made out of alloy. My eye sight is very bad and I would give you the words on it IF I could read them. Sorry, MUST go see eye doctor! lol Just another appointment to put on my list...arg.
