can't tell from pic or description. is this SS or steel or gold plated? what is the Gage?

Not sure exactly, but I don't believe it is Sterling Silver or Gold Plated because it would probably have some sort of markings.I believe it is Steel.... But don't hold me too that lol
Now as far as the gage, I'm not 100% sure what that means, LMBO but If you explain it to me I'd be happy to figure it out for you!!
