zones 8 - 11, but why can't you just grow it indoors as a house plant (^)-(^)

it was just bland to me. it's big attraction is that it tricks the taste bids into thinking things are sweet when they are not

how big does this plant get.? is it a shrub or a small tree? indoors houseplant?

they can get really tall but it's more like shrubbery.
