Fanned back : )

It's a really nice book - I only glanced at a few pages so they are crisp and the binding is like new. I also like the fact that the picture on the dust cover is also on the actually book.

My go-to book is a complete encyclopedia of all stitches. My grandmother started me out with x-stitch and it just grew from there. I've slowed down a lot because of carpal tunnel in both wrists up to my elbows. I wear gloves and do different things with my hands when they hurt. Like crochet - another one of my favorite crafts : )

Fanned back!

The thing about any stitching is you are usually the only one who knows where the mistakes are.

It's called The Complete Illustrated Stitch Encyclopedia by Crafter's Choice. The fancy embroidery stitches are shown in detail. It might be out-dated with all the new techniques such as felting and punch needle are not included.

I love to do all kinds of crafts. I used to make a goal for myself to learn at least one new technique every year. That's why I have so many craft items for my auctions.

I completed my first real plastic canvas project-not just the little stuff but a multi piece hanging-proud of it! I crochet too, but hands too achey for threadwork anymore-l love afghans but l cant afford the yarn. Thank God for Listia for supplies and patterns!! =^..^=

Good for you on your accomplishment!

I wear those gloves for crafting and they seem to help my hands. Also, switching up on projects which require different movements is also a great help.

Last afghan I made was almost a king size. I received a bunch of yarn from my step-dad's sister - mostly Caron Simply soft - that I would like to list but I cannot afford the shipping because it is too bulky. I wish I knew someone with a vacuum & seal then I could reduce the size of the packaging.

I'm making some doilies from vintage patterns right now. Have you ever tried crocheting with 30 thread? It's like crocheting with sewing thread!
