Description

The listing, Orange Sapphire -1.85 Carats has ended.

This is a beautiful orange sapphire. Yes, Orange! Sapphire comes in all colors of the rainbow :-). Blue (of course) but also green, yellow, pink, purple-pink, clear-or 'white' and even red- but then they call it 'ruby'!
This sweetheart is 1.85 carats of pure sparkle and measures approximately 7mm x 5mm-oval. Perfect to put in a setting of your choice.
My pictures leave something to be desired but it does have good cut, clarity and color.
Sapphire's 'hardness' of '9' is just below that of diamond(10) and it makes for durable wear in everyday use.

Hi, this has been on my watch list also for a while now. I will start bidding in a couple of days when I have more credits. I just love sapphires, all of the colors. Even the white is prettier than a diamond in my opinion.

I agree. Sapphire has a higher refractive index than diamond which means it sparkles more! My first 'other colored' sapphire was a white sapphire and I fell in love with it.

I believe this is about a 8 on a scale of 1-10 in my opinion. It has good color, cut and clarity.

1. My cat does that constantly when trying to "attack" something, 2. Do you have any paperwork on the stone? Just asking because it would make the bidders feel more secure about bidding - like papers showing its cut/clarity/quality info and where it was purchased and could you provide a copy to the winner and 3. Lastly as far as shipping would you do insurance on it to make sure it arrives safely :) Lovely stone I'm keeping my eye on it.

Yeah I hear ya about the extra $ to spend. I will however if I win take it to the family jeweler and have it set in a ring setting most likely.

It's real? Not man-made/lab grown?
