yes, but what about if won in auction mode? Not checking 'free shipping' in listing tool means your auction won't have red lettered 'free shipping' in item lists and markedly decreases the number of people who will even check it out.-> An FYI intended to be helpful...nothing more and not snarky.

Thanks Yeah, that's not fair but I'll tell you- these items ARE free to winners as free shipping on free items means we are paying someone to take our items and shipping costs are painful at best. When you charge for shipping you still only receive an actual worth of pennies on the dollar for your stuff. What makes it worth it to me is our community and access to items I could't get anywhere else.

I guess it depends on what you like to bid on, I always offer free shipping, I figure it (usually) increases the bids accordingly. Plus, it eliminates the hassle of collecting the postage. I made a spreadsheet w/estimated values of things I got, postage in & out, and est values of things I "won". It's just an estimate but I almost break even.

I usually don't bid on stuff that has postage required, unless I REALLY want it, or the small amount of points it has garnered makes it a bargain overall.

Anyway, just my two cents on the shipping discussion. Good luck! - John

since these are collectors dominoes , iam guessing there a lil more costly then ordinary ones , but i dont expect any one to bid on anything i have on here if there not interested in the item , i really dont think its nice to for some one to come to another persons auction and talk down the items they have to give away , hint hint shanesxe , but what ever some people dont have a life so they need to get into others business to make there selfs feel better ,
