The listing, 1953 Queen Elizabeth Shilling Coin has ended.
1953 was the first year coins were issued with the likeness of the newly crowned Queen Elizabeth II. She is wearing a wreath on her head instead of a crown, which is seen in later versions of her coins.
The engraver was Mary Gillick.
The wording on the front gives her name and says, By the grace of God, Queen of all Britains.
On the back is the royal shield, the date, the denomination and Fid Def, which means Defender of the Faith.
I am unable to describe the condition in numismatic terms, but everything is readable, and her outline shows some wear.
