Description

The listing, USA - Cabbage Patch Kids doll, mint has ended.

USA stamp from the "Celebrate the Century" series from 1998 to 2000.

These stamps were ONLY available as sheets of 15 different designs, so people wishing a single stamp would have to buy a full sheet from the post office! There were 10 different sheets available, one for each decade (1900's through 1990's).

Single mint stamps such as this are rarely available and are great for people that wish to collect stamps with particular subjects and themes. This way you don't have to commit to buying a whole sheet.

Full sheets (15 stamps) of these now have a catalog value of over $12.50 (2012 catalog value). One of the large stamp mail order companies (begins with "M"...) charges $16.75 for a sheet and $1.95 for a single such as the one offered here (plus $2.90 postage). Thus, this single stamp from this stamp company would cost you $4.85 !
--> My cost is much more reasonable! The minimum bid takes into account my out of pocket costs including non-tracked first class mail. If you wish USPS tracking, then you'll need to pay for $2.54 for USPS 1st Class Parcel tracking (the cheapest available).
--> GIN of 7,000 is available

Condition: full gum, mint never hinged, post office fresh

I have up to 3 of the CTC stamp illustrated, the scan is representative of what you will receive (if I have more than one) or the actual stamp if I only have one.

My general terms for stamp-related Listia lots can be found here (please read, it answers a lot of basic questions):

Please don't bid if not in agreement with the terms stated in this lot and on my website shown above.

I know this is the stamp as I have several, but from your title I would have thought it was an actually doll if I did not know what the stamp looked like and read your description, a little misleading. over great auction

Being as this is a stamp, and it's listed in the stamp section at Listia, I didn't think it was necessary to put the word "stamp" into the description. I have several hundreds stamps that I'm selling and don't put the word stamp on each description, just the country name, catalog number (if known) and the subject/topic description and (usually) the condition (such as mint).

...and even though it is described as being a single stamp from a sheet of the Celebrate the Century series, just to re-iterate: this lot is for one stamp, not the whole sheet. And also as described, whole sheets had 15 different designs on them, this design just being one of them. And since some people prefer to collect specific designs, I separated all stamps from each and am selling them separately. To give context to the value, I also described how much these are selling for by one of the larger stamp mail-order companies in the country
